Introducing TuroVA
Run one or two cars and most of hosting is manageable by hand. Run fifteen, or fifty, and the exact same tasks — check a license, log a trip, submit a toll, nudge a price, answer “what’s the lockbox code” for the ninetieth time — start eating the hours that should go into growing the fleet, not babysitting it.
TuroVA is an AI virtual assistant built for hosts running fleets of five or more cars, to take that repetitive load off your plate without taking you out of the loop. Here’s what’s in the first release.
Verify a driver’s license without leaving your desk
Upload a license photo and TuroVA checks it against the guest’s booking on the spot — right from your computer, no app-switching required. AI does the tedious part of the review for you, screening for the four things that actually matter:
- Photo — does the face on file match the person booking
- Name match — does it match the account
- Date of birth — does it match the account
- Expiration date — is the license still valid
Every check surfaces its findings for you to confirm — you’re never handing over a decision blind. Once you’ve watched TuroVA get it right often enough to trust it, you can tell it to approve verifications on its own, and step in only for the exceptions it flags.
Every trip, in order, at a glance
Past, present, and future trips sit in one chronological view instead of scattered across booking pages. You can see what’s currently out, what’s coming up, and what already closed out — without clicking into each car one at a time.
A daily snapshot sits on top of that view showing how many cars go out and come back each day, so a fifty-car fleet reads as clearly as a five-car one.
Hundreds of tolls and tickets, sorted and charged in minutes
Toll and ticket statements almost never line up with your fleet cleanly — one file might span weeks, cover dozens of plates, and mix in trips that already ended. TuroVA takes those files as they come. Load a batch covering a wide date range and a large number of cars, and it matches every individual charge to the trip it belongs to automatically.
When a charge can’t be billed yet — the trip hasn’t closed, say — TuroVA doesn’t drop it. It queues the charge and holds it until you’re ready, so you can submit everything with one click later instead of chasing it down manually.
TuroVA sorts and submits hundreds of incidentals in about 2 minutes — work that would otherwise take hours of manual matching, one charge at a time.
TuroVA also keeps a running ledger of what’s been paid and what’s still open, so nothing quietly falls through the cracks between “charged” and “collected.”
Pricing that stays where you put it
Left alone, dynamic pricing creeps in one day at a time — the only real way to stop it is to log in every day and manually reset the last day’s price yourself. TuroVA does that daily reset for you, automatically, so your pricing doesn’t drift without your say-so.
You can also set your own rules on top: fixed pricing between specific dates, or a formula like dynamic pricing plus a percentage — however you want particular stretches of the calendar to behave.
Scheduled messages that already know where the car is
Set up messages to send automatically on a schedule, with the right attachment attached automatically based on the car’s pickup location — so a guest picking up downtown gets different instructions, maps, or codes than one picking up at the airport lot, without you sorting that out message by message.
Auto-replies that understand what guests actually mean
Most auto-reply tools only catch a message if it matches an exact phrase. TuroVA reads for intent instead, so it recognizes the dozen different ways a guest asks the same question.
“What’s the lockbox code?” and “hey what number do i enter here” — TuroVA recognizes both as the same question and answers instantly, either way.
The fleet still runs on your judgment
None of this replaces the judgment that comes from running your own fleet — it’s about giving that judgment somewhere better to spend its time than repetitive verification, spreadsheet reconciliation, and the same three guest questions on repeat. TuroVA handles the volume; you handle the fleet.
This is the first entry. More to come as the assistant grows with the hosts using it.
